In March 2023, the town posted a survey on the town website regarding the airport. The survey was advertised in social media, in the town’s own electronic publications, and in local newspaper ads.

There were two “Airport engagement” sessions held in March and April, with the public encouraged to ask questions and voice their opinions. They did.
