Balairus Fuels was established in 2021 by Darcy Balaneski to provide aviation fuel services at the Vermilion airport.

Currently the system provides 100 LL aviation gasoline for piston powered aircraft.

The fuel system consists of a 12,500-litre fuel tank with a 50ft self retracting hose reel and digital metering and monitoring system contained within a cabinet at the front of the tank. 

Adjacent to the tank is the refueling shed that provides a heated and lighted sheltered space for the 24hr self service credit card point of sale payment system. 

Instructions for use of the system are located within the fueling shed.
